About Me

I am a 4th year English teacher with a B.A in Teaching of English in Secondary Education. After graduating from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2012, I moved to Dubai and taught English to high school students. In 2014, my husband and I decided to move back home and pursue experiences. I dabbled in the literary world and then soon after became an Assistant Director of an after school program. Missing my comfort zone, I found my way back into the classroom. I taught middle school Writing at a high-paced charter school for a year. With my upbeat and positive demeanor, I bring a fresh, new approach to English that will make even the most mundane concepts more interesting.
