About Me

I graduated from Wheaton College in 2015 with a double major in Archaeology and Geology. In the future I plan on going to graduate school to get my PhD in Archaeology. I have always loved teaching people about subjects that I myself am passionate about. In the long term I would like to be a college professor, teaching archaeology at a university. My favorite subject to tutor is archaeology, followed by history. Archaeology is an interesting subject because new archaeological discoveries have the ability to change our interpretation of the past. I also teach geology and social studies. My teaching style is all about helping students to learn information with context, fostering their ability to think for themselves. Outside of academia I play guitar and teach wilderness survival. I enjoy archery, woodworking, and making stone tools.
