It is my belief that education is the key to improving our communities. As educators it is not our job to give our students the answer, rather it is our duty to teach them how to be critical and independent thinkers. I am currently a high school Special Education English teacher. I became a teacher because I believe in the potential of all learners and understand that not all learning happens the same way. I am a passionate and dedicated person who constantly strives to better myself and my practice.

Besides teaching I love to travel and explore different cultures and food. During the summer I enjoy relaxing on the beach with a good book and on festive nights I love going salsa dancing with good friends.
