I provide highly personalized one-on-one lessons in all areas of chemistry, physics and math. Throughout my career, tutoring and teaching has been one of my passions. I have tutored over a hundred students spanning a broad range of ages and backgrounds, from elementary school through post-graduate continuing education. The subjects I taught include quantitative and subject (Chemistry and Physics) SAT preparation, all areas of math, chemistry and physics, as well as preparation for the New York State Exams. My classroom teaching experience encompassed nearly four years as a full-time faculty member at Boston College, where I taught undergraduate and graduate courses in chemistry. In addition, I worked as math instructor for an advanced after-school program for children in grades 1-8.I believe that personal tutoring is one of the most effective methods of teaching as it allows the pace of the lessons to be carefully matched to the student, so that learning is at the same time challenging, but not overwhelming.
