About Me

I am studying Arabic, Judaic Studies and Middle Eastern Studies at SUNY at Binghamton. Throughout my time in school and college, the thing I have most struggled with is being consistently motivated. Lets face it, from early morning wake ups to long school hours and the time spent doing homework after hours, students are really tired! It is incredibly hard to keep a steady level of interest and motivation if one is tired and unstimulated by their time at school. My favorite teachers were always the ones who were clearly passionate about the subjects they were teaching. Interactive demonstrations, real life examples, and sheer excitement about the subject always amounts to a significantly more engaged student. I hope to be a tutor that successfully engages students and makes them want to learn more. I want to be the tutor that sparks curiosity and motivates a student to not only be happy with what they are learning, but encourages them to ask questions that go beyond the scope of the materials given. I am passionate about subjects such as Creative Writing, English, Religious Studies and History, and I hope I am able to convey that excitement to your student.
