About Me

I believe that education is one of the most important aspects of a young person's life. Students aren't incapable of learning just because they are struggling in a subject; they simply need ideas to be conveyed in terms that they can understand. In a classroom setting, it is very difficult for a teacher to communicate subject material in a way that the entire class can understand. This situation can be easily remedied with private tutoring, which is where I come in. Having just completed a degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, I have gained a strong understanding of several subjects within math and science. In the past, I've tutored in math and writing at both high school and collegiate levels. These experiences have been thoroughly enjoyable because, in addition to teaching, I was able to get to know my students by chatting about life outside of the classroom. Tutoring has and continues to be a pursuit of mine because making complicated concepts intuitive to others gives me a strong sense of fulfillment.
