About Me

I am able to help students with all aspects of English and college application essays. I have a passion for organization and love tutoring executive functioning skills I love helping students understand material in fun ways. Learning shouldn't be boring! I work with students in the way they learn best. I received a BA from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN in English and Education. I hold a master's degree in education and an Ed. S. degree in reading and language. I have also taught English as a second language to high school students through a Harvard summer program and to adult learners online. Outside of learning and teaching I enjoy being outside skiing, running, and surfing. In high school and college I played tennis, was on the swim team, and played violin.
