For over ten years, I have worked in a high school resource room program providing academic support to students in small groups. My experience is mostly with 11th and 12th grade students and I know their curriculum well. I provide support in most of their major courses. I have had extensive experience tutoring students privately as well, both on the high school and college levels. I have privately tutored students in social studies, social sciences, literature, math and some science. My approach to teaching is very student centered because I think each student needs to be treated as an individual to maximize their educational experience. In my spare time, I enjoy music, art and the beach.
