I am from Rancho Palos Verdes, California (a suburb south of Los Angeles) where I would tutor high school and middle school students both privately and through the National Honors Society. All of my past experience tutoring experience is with Math, and I have tutored from Pre-Algebra through Calculus 2. Through high school I also had the opportunity to work with 4th and 5th grade students. I volunteered through PressFriends, a program run by highschool students to start writing programs in lower-income elementary schools, where I recorded over 400 hours in 4 years. I am an avid believer of having a strong math based foundation, and quick mental math skills, and will often spend the first 15 minutes of the first session accessing what my client already knows before advancing to the content he or she would like help with. In my free time at Marquette you can find me playing for our club volleyball team, playing Fifa, or exploring downtown; however when back in California I find myself either hiking, at the beach, or hanging out with friends.
