A lot of my time at Brown was spent serving on the board of Shakespeare on the Green, Brown's only site-specific student theater group; I even assistant directed a production of Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale" in the Fall of my senior year. I tutor a very broad range of subjects, but my preferences lie with the liberal arts (English, writing, reading, history, etc.). That said, I also enjoy the sensation of testing myself that I experience when doing math problems: I find satisfaction in solving a problem. In short: I enjoy a good challenge, and the biggest challenge out there (in my opinion) is education. Education is the pathway to intellectual curiosity which hopefully can continue to define more and more people. Seeking to understand is what makes us human after all. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy curling up by the fire with a good book and a cat, watching and talking about TV or movies, Boston sports, science-fiction, anime, running, cooking and eating food, and, of course, long walks on the beach. I am training to be a professional actor, and my goal is to one day be conversational in French, Russian, and Japanese which will either be very useful or no help at all when I set off to help colonize Mars. All jokes aside, I am very excited to begin tutoring.
