About Me

Born in the Equality state of Wyoming I’ve recently relocated to Tennessee to continue pursing academic endeavors and learning opportunities. I hold degrees from the University of Wyoming and Arizona State in History and Liberal Arts with a focus on Gender and Sociology. I have a huge passion for Civil War cultural and social history. I enjoy history from all time periods and countries and love to continually learn new information. All of my programs have given me a great deal of experience in culture, society and politics as well as technical writing. I always continue to research and write about history. I enjoy writing both creatively and technically as it is a form of communication and in such a fast paced world where communication is key. I believe that the written word is the strongest form of communication and continuing to practice it can only help me to achieve my goals. I always enjoyed reading and literature and continue to work in this area of education as well. Along with history and literature I continually maintain my love for math and equations whenever I get the chance. In my free time I enjoy cooking, reading, music, walking my dogs, playing video games or going to sports events. I also enjoy golfing when the weather is nice. I love spending time with family and my husband any chance I get.
