I am currently the fellowship holder at the Bennington Writing Seminars where I will earn my Masters in Fine Arts in Creative Writing. For the past two years, I tutored students in Saint Paul Public Schools with the Minnesota Reading Corps. I’ve also worked with college-bound high school students at the Hamline Young Writers’ Workshop. In my experiences with tutoring, I’ve learned to connect with readers and writers of different age groups and academic backgrounds. I have extensive workshop experience with essay writing and editing for both academic and literary merit. I’m also an award winning writer and very active within local literary community. Since reading and writing is such a big part of my life, sharing my knowledge with others is an absolute joy. I believe that education can add a true sense of richness to one’s life, and that’s why I’ve made it the center of my life. In my free time, I enjoy running, skiing, baseball, ice fishing, and the arts.
