About Me

I'm originally from China. I have a bachelor's degree in Economics. I have tutored numerous students in my life, from tutoring middle school students math, to tutoring American children Chinese. I have taught Chinese to American and European children in MTI International School in Tianjin, China. I love teaching and tutoring. All my family are teachers or professors. My family has been proud of me because I was always the best or one of the best students in school. I am very patient and detail minded. I like to guide my students and help them develop the confidence and skills they need to be successful. I believe we can learn from each other. I love the warm weather in Houston, since I grew up in northern China near Siberia where it can become extremely cold. I have lived in Houston area for over 4 years. I enjoy doing so much outdoor and indoor activities around Houston, like parks, zoo, museums, theaters etc... This is a really fun city! I also enjoy cooking, movies, music and reading.
