I'm currently pursuing my PhD at UNM, also in Economics. Learning is a passion for me, and I try to inspire it in others with my tutoring!

I am a graduate student at the University of New Mexico in the Nanoscience and Microsystems Engineering program. I finished my Master's degree at the University of Colorado, where I was a teaching assistant in the Physics Department. I love teaching students and sparking passion for math and science that I feel. I love working with different learning styles and finding the approach that works best for each student.

I am a graduate of a top university in perceptual psychology, and currently work in the field. I have many years of experience tutoring, both in university settings as well as elementary through high-school education. I primarily tutor student in English, Writing, and Psychology, but I also have extensive experience in the Social Sciences. I have also gotten the opportunity to help students who have English as a second language, where I currently edit academic papers for those wishing to publish. I believe that incorporating real world examples is the best way to understand the material.

I'm Maddie Wright, a recent graduate of UCLA and enthusiastic tutor specializing in the ACT, language arts, and math. I majored in marine biology and minored in geography in undergrad, so I am also very comfortable teaching the natural and social sciences. My specialties include creating personalized materials and offering writing and college application guidance. I cater to Elementary, Middle, and High School students, and always aim to provide engaging, informative, and specialized sessions for my students. From presenting core concepts, to reviewing real world applications, to assisting with homework and test preparation, I'm super excited to dive into learning together!

I am a current college student at the University of New Mexico majoring in Statistics and Economics. Upon graduation I am planning on going to grad school and moving on to become an actuary.

I have tutored students since 8th grade and I am thrilled to be able to help students who, like me, sometimes don't understand all the complicated stuff school throws at you! It doesn't annoy me at all if you don't get it the first (or second, or third) time because then we are challenged to find new ways of understanding the subject and, yes, I think that is fun!

I am Shreeya Moolamalla, and I am a freshman at Vanderbilt University planning to study either Neuroscience or Biomedical Engineering. I have tutored children from elementary math to Geometry since I was a 9th graders in High School as part of an organization called Tutoring By Two, which I became the middle school department head of my senior year of high school as well. In addition to that, I have started my own non profit organization where I bring education and help teach children with neurodiversity, health concerns, etc. math and other subjects. In fact, I even created my own website to teach math for autistic individuals in my community while I was in high school. As I know I might be younger, I have lots of experience working with children and my primary goal is not only to make the subject I am teaching understandable, but also enjoyable. I make sure every tutor meeting is filled with energy and interactive activities that help reach the goals for your child!

I am still attending the University of New Mexico to get a Bachelor of Science in Physics. My hopes are that I can get into a good graduate program for Physics or Astrophysics so that I can become a professor. I tutor Physics, Chemistry, Geometry, Algebra, and Calculus. My favorite subjects to tutor are Physics, and Geometry. Physics and geometry are my favorite subjects to tutor since I am very passionate about physics and believe it can be taught at every level of education. Why geometry is a favorite might have seemed weird at first, but Einstein himself believed geometry is a branch of physics not math. This is why physics is for all ages. I focus on improving the students understanding of the subject. Then I focus on teaching them what critical, creative, and/or logical thinking they need to apply to the subject. For example I will start by ensuring the student has a vivid understanding of how gravity and acceleration are related before teaching them how a pendulum works or how to solve for the path of a rocket. I believe that by knowing how to critically think for a subject allows you to apply what you have learned for life, this also makes studying for finals much easier in the future. Outside of school I enjoy listening to music, working with computers in general and learning other languages. I enjoy improving who I am by meditating, reading, and exercising every day.
