I am currently pursuing a Master's in Teaching at the University of Chicago and also have a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago.

I am licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of New York. Subjects that I am the most comfortable teaching are math (up to Algebra 2), science (Biology, Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, etc), and certain languages (Korean, Japanese, French) at the beginner level. While dabbling in a few "teaching" experiences (teaching assistant for a course, Paint Nite instructor) I found that I do best in a 1-on-1 setting which tutoring fits the bill. My teaching style is incredibly laid-back and my end-goal is making sure that one is comfortable with me and also with learning the material.

I am currently a sophomore at Northwestern University with a Neuroscience Major and Psychology minor.

I am most comfortable teaching the SAT Reading/Writing and helping youths with their personal statements. Furthermore, my one-year experience as an AmeriCorps VISTA for PeaceJam Foundation – an award-winning organization that promotes service learning and peacekeeping through the combined efforts of Nobel Peace Laureates and young people – has instilled in me a deep reverence and hope for our youths today. I strongly believe in our youths’ limitless potential to pursue their dreams and become agents of positive social change and know I will be an excellent mentor/coach through their journey.

I am currently a student at Boston College, majoring Biology and Hispanic Studies. From my experience of tutoring since high school, I realized how much I love teaching and getting to know my students. Teaching has always been a rewarding experience for me and I am grateful that I have the ability to provide not only knowledge, but also support and inspiration as a mentor and a friend; I believe that students and tutors alike can learn and continue to grow in a positive manner through such experience. Although I have tutored a wide range of subjects, my favorite subjects to tutor are Korean and Spanish, for learning a new language comes with multifaceted benefits.

I worked as a teaching assistant for Elementary Korean with the Korean Program in the School of Modern Languages at Georgia Tech. I also worked as a peer tutor with the Scheller College of Business for the course Quantitative Analysis for Business.

I'm James. I'm a junior at Brown University with a 4.0 GPA and numerous standardized test scores at the 99+ percentile. My test scores include a 35 on the ACT (36 in Math and 35 in English, Reading, and Science) and a 800 on SAT Math Level II. I am very experienced and prepared as a tutor. I'm a Rice University biochemistry major and GSMST (Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology) graduate where I took 15 APs/college-equivalent courses, including AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, Multivariable calculus/linear algebra, Differential equations, AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism, and AP Chemistry.

I am currently an undergraduate student at Cornell University studying Biological sciences. At school, I am involved in research regarding Veterinary Oncology to uncover more about treating lymphoma in dogs. I have also worked with MedLife, a medical brigade organization, to bring medical care and education to Lima, Peru. Outside of classes, I dance as a member of a Korean hip-hop dance group. Currently during the summer I am working as a clinic instructor for a learning center geared towards individuals with learning disabilities. I have a strong interest in working with children, and young adults, having tutored since middle school and spent a year as a teaching assistant for elementary reading and math.

I am a undergraduate freshman of the University of Michigan, studying business at the Ross School of Business. Working together with students and having a good time while seeing steady improvements has proven to provide me great joy. I believe that communication and relationship building is crucial for students to open up about their struggles and also for me to identify problems they don't realize they can improve on, so this is a key aspect of all of my lessons. During my free time, I enjoy playing sports or snacking on desserts while binge-watching Friends!

I am a graduate from UCLA and currently working as a CPA; however, I have been enjoying time to teach the Korean language and culture when I have extra time.

I am a current student at Northeastern University pursuing a combined major in Biology and Computer Science. I am fascinated by mathematics, computer science, biology, and the intersection between the three. I am passionate about breaking down complex concepts in these subjects to help students discover that same fascination, and watching them improve and gain confidence in their academics. Math and science are what I love tutoring the most, but I also have experience tutoring in English reading and writing primarily for ESL students, Korean, and standardized tests. I believe that all student have their own ways in learning and processing information, and I strive to take a unique approach to each student to help them learn in an enjoyable manner!

I am a recent graduate from Tufts University with a major in International Relations and a minor in Economics. I have been helping students since I was in middle school working with students of all ages from kindergarten to college. Prior to spending four years at Tufts, I attended a boarding school in Massachusetts where I was committed to tutoring middle school students at a local Boys and Girls' Club for all four years. I always enjoyed seeing the energy of younger students who were eager to learn and their visible improvements. I also worked as a teaching assistant for an SAT prep center where I tutored SAT verbal and writing along with SAT II literature and math. I moved to Las Vegas a few months ago after finishing up college, and I would love to get back to working with students on a regular basis because I understand the importance of education and enjoy helping and seeing results. My favorite subject to teach is SAT because with the right help it is a standardized test that can see huge improvements in scores. Writing section is especially my forte because I think that grammar is the basic building block of the English language that deserves a little more attention in school. I feel a great sense of fulfillment when students start to understand the different structures of English sentences and appreciate such knowledge. In my spare time, I like to stay active and go to yoga classes, including antigravity yoga, and drive to national parks for fresh air. I am also a big foodie who enjoys regular trips to different restaurants with friends and an avid movie fan. I look forward to meeting with students here in Las Vegas!
