I am currently working with Varsity Tutors while I finish my Ph.D. in Education at the University of Virginia. I have taught, tutored, and coached for over a decade in more than 30 countries. I was also a Division 1 athlete throughout college, managed an NGO in China, and mentored several students in both academic and non-academic areas since 2012, so I am familiar with the challenges of trying to balance several pursuits simultaneously. I am a recent graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelors of Science and Engineering (BSE) in Chemical Engineering. I was selected as the outstanding graduate for the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering and have extensive math, physics, and writing experience. I recently applied and was accepted to many top-ten PhD programs for engineering because of academic merit and personal statement writing skills. I will be attending the University of Texas at Austin in the fall.

I am working with a student on an essay, I will work with them by going through both comprehensive edits (thesis, focus, commentary) and then minor edits (grammar, active voice, punctuation). Other sessions may include practice test questions, essay planning, and sound boarding to generate ideas and solutions!
