I am a PhD student at the University of Michigan, studying social psychology. Before this, I was at Duke University completing a BS in psychology as well as a MS in global health. My research combines the fields of global health and psychology by examining the effects of culture on self-related psychological processes. I hope to continue in academia to become a professor of psychology, as teaching is among my greatest passions.

I am a senior at Yale University studying English. I have 5+ years experience tutoring high school/middle school students in writing, college essay editing, Common App advising, AP English, and ACT! I am a current undergraduate at the University of Michigan. I am a Biochemistry major and Philosophy minor, with years of experience tutoring students. Through high school, I tutored kids in the ACT, math, science, literature, and debate. My favorite subject to tutor is Chemistry, as I have taken Chemistry Honors, AP Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry(1 and 2). I believe that tutoring is a two way street, with the student learning about the material, but the teacher learning about how the student interacts with the material. Outside of academia, I am a singer and have been for 13 years now - a choir singer for 7 years and now in a premier acapella group at the University of Michigan.

I am currently a student at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. I am working on my third year in the Bachelors of Business Administration program. Throughout my time in both college and high school I have experienced the frustration and pains of students, whether it be myself or my friends. I have always helped my friends with the subjects they struggled with (Calculus, ACT science, Economics, etc.) because I want to see them succeed. I decided to become a tutor to help others succeed as well. I teach ACT, SAT, Statistics, Economics, Business, Math, English, Environment Science, Reading, Writing, and Essay Editing. I especially enjoy teaching Essay Editing, Reading, and Writing because there is more flexibility and opportunity to add your own style into these subjects. Outside of school I enjoy playing tennis, working out, DJing and cooking.

I am confident in my abilities to tutor with college admissions exams such as the SAT and ACT, including specialized SAT subject tests. I also tutor in math, until Multivariable Calculus, and can help with computer science skills and languages.
