Physics Tutoring review by Steven in Midlothian, IL
The student and I did more work with EM subjects, this time focusing on capacitance and capacitors of various kinds. The student seemed to get the details very quickly once the problems were set up. Overall it was a good session.

Physics Tutoring review by Max in Midlothian, IL
Today the student and I finished up his materials on projectile motion. He is beginning to take a lead in setting up problems and finding the next step within those problems - a quintessential tool for physics success. We also spent some time working with vectors, which will be quite prominent in the upcoming chapters. I suggested that he finish two vector problems for our session tomorrow. I feel that he will not have any trouble with them, and they will be beneficial to his comfort with using vectors. The student has some trouble with remembering the big picture in solving problems. It is common in physics to break a problem into smaller, manageable components. We spend a decent amount of time on each component, so I have made sure to emphasize often what each bit we do contributes to the larger puzzle. Overall I am happy with his understanding, and am confident he will be a strong physics student with time and attention.
