I have completed my Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida in both Biology and Business Administration. I currently love to tutor all students in numerous Mathematics and Science subjects as I want to spark that same passion that I have for these subjects. I have significant mastery of mathematics including pre-calculus, algebra 1/2, trigonometry, geometry, statistics, finite math, college level algebra, business math, and quantitative reasoning, etc. I have significant experience in science subjects including biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy, organic chemistry, and biochemistry as well. I love to help students use their logic and problem-solving skills in order to advance their learning ability to a higher degree more efficiently. While learning how to apply these skills in real life situations using both math and science topics, respectively. I like to tailor lesson plans and study strategies to that particular student (as we are all unique) to ensure each student understands the concepts completely. I breathe English. I have been writing seriously since middle school, and I've won a number of writing contests over the years. In May 2019 I graduated from the University of North Texas with a BA in English and a concentration in creative writing. I particularly enjoy revising/editing stories and essays but can also help with Literary Analysis, Composition, etc as well as most standardized tests and middle school/high school subjects. I'm friendly and passionate about helping other people in any way I can. I'm pretty funny (I hope) so we should have a great time while we're working. My primary goal is helping my clients develop as students/writers, and I will do my absolute best to make sure they understand anything we go over during sessions. Combining the personal discipline learned during 20 years as a Naval Officer with the unique expertise learned in one-on-one communication with peers and sailors as well as my five children, I can help you or your child succeed. A Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and a Math Minor help qualify me for tutoring in many subjects. My individualized tutoring methods also raised my step-son's Physics grade from a C to an A in one semester. I specialize in mathematics (basic arithmetic through calculus) but can help in many other subjects. Learning should be fun, but should also, at times, bring "Instant" results. I work to keep positive encouragement in every lesson, tutoring, or test preparation session. I speak fluent Spanish!

I am a graduate of Duke University( undergrad) where I majored in Philosophy and minored in Theater Studies. During my summers in college, I worked with EducationUSA Nairobi, an advising center for Kenyan students who wish to pursue higher education in the US. When I worked for them, I tutored high school graduates on SAT stuff and also helped them write better personal statements. After graduating from Duke last year, I started tutoring high school students in my neighborhood. I mainly taught math subjects such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Trigonometry, Geometry, Basic Math and Problem Solving but I'm well versed in Reading and Writing subjects as well. I'm vastly experienced and very patient with all my students. In my free time I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking etc.

I am a tutor in math and computer science subjects. I think that every student has the potential to be good at math, but many have lost confidence somewhere along the way. My goal is to help students find that confidence again. I have a Master's degree in Math and a Bachelor's degree in Math and Computer Science. I have tutored for several years at the college level in both math and CS, with some classroom experience as well. I have also done some tutoring with middle - high school aged students. I work best one-on-one, and I really enjoy working in algebra, calculus, and pre-calculus. But mostly I enjoy helping students gain math and CS confidence!
