Hi there! I'm Glen, and I tutor chess, the LSAT, essay editing, and public speaking!
I've been playing chess since I was nine (so for almost 17 years now). I did chess club in high school for all four years, and I spent much of the pandemic honing my chess skills. I continue to play chess and improve my skills off and on and I'm excited to bring more people into one of my favorite board games!
I also scored a 168 on the LSAT (twice!), putting me within the 92nd percentile of all test-takers (twice!) after a diagnostic score of 149 and almost 2 years of dedicated studying. My score helped me get into GW Lawcurrently ranked 31 by US News and World Report but traditionally within the top 25on a 50% scholarship, Washington and Lee Law School on an 80% scholarship, and Penn State Dickinson Law on a full scholarship plus a stipend. I'm excited to help those interested in a legal career score as high as they can on the LSAT so that they can get into the best schools possible for the most merit aid possible!
As a law student and former mock trial participant, I have a lot of writing and public speaking experience. Law school in particular helped me become a more concise and persuasive writer, and I have improved my public speaking skills throughout high school and college despite having a stutter.
