My name is Dr. Sureka Perera, and I bring over two decades of experience teaching and mentoring students in mathematics and statistics across a wide range of academic levels, from school-age learners to university undergraduates and graduate students. I hold a B.Sc. degree in Statistics and Computer Science, a Master's in Mathematics, and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics with a focus on financial modeling. I have also pursued doctoral-level studies in Statistics and completed a fellowship in Data Science and Data Engineering. My academic journey is complemented by industry experience in quantitative research, financial analytics, and educational publishing. I specialize in simplifying complex concepts, such as probability theory, algebra, calculus, and inferential statistics, using relatable examples and interactive tools.
