Amanda: Delaware County tutor
Certified Tutor
Hi! I'm Amanda Galante, a junior at the University of Miami double majoring in Political Economics and Legal Studies with minors in Finance and Sports Administration. I've always had a passion for learning and even more so for helping others discover their own potential. That's what led me to tutoringI love being part of the "aha" moment when a tough concept finally clicks.
I specialize in ACT prep (particularly English and Math), Algebra, Writing, and Economics. With a 32 ACT score and a 3.8 GPA, I bring both subject mastery and real test-taking experience to every session. I also interned with the Miami Heat's Finance and Capital Planning team, where I created data dashboards, proposed an AI strategy, and gained hands-on problem-solving experience I now bring into my teaching style: clear, practical, and personalized.
Whether you're tackling quadratic equations or analyzing an ACT reading passage, I'll meet you where you are and help you build skills step by step. I focus on tailoring lessons to your learning style, building confidence, and creating a positive, encouraging environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and growing.
Learning should feel empoweringnot stressful. I'm excited to support you on your academic journey and celebrate your progress every step of the way!

Beyond academics, I’m an active member of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity, where I’m currently leading our recruitment efforts. I love creating welcoming, inclusive spaces that help students grow professionally and personally. I also serve as a print writer for the Collegiate Law Journal at the University of Miami, where I publish legal research on timely issues like athlete misconduct and sponsorship law. My long-term goal is to become a lawyer, and I’m passionate about using law and business together to drive ethical decision-making and social impact. I enjoy exploring complex topics—whether I’m writing legal analyses, leading advocacy workshops as president of IGNITE, or collaborating with startups through the Hyperion Consulting Council. I actually just traveled to Costa Rica with my club on a service trip! Outside the classroom, I’m a competitive tennis player, runner who is interested in doing her first half marathon, a fan of professional hockey, and a true crime enthusiast. I’m conversational in Polish and Spanish, and I love cultural storytelling—from novels to music to international cuisine. I also am certified service dog trainer!
