I am a first year student at the Georgia Institute of Technology studying Public Policy and Spanish on the Pre-Law track. I enjoy traveling and learning about other cultures/languages, and I have completed one week study abroad programs in both Spain and Costa Rica. I also love learning about the government and how political systems work. I am hoping to attend law school in the future and pursue a career as an immigration defense attorney. I tutor a variety of subjects such as Spanish, English, and Government, but I am interested in many other subjects as well. I love working with kids and have experience tutoring from the elementary to the highschool age range. Additionally, I have worked as a summer camp counselor since eighth grade, and more recently I have gained experience by being a substitute teacher at a local preschool. I have always valued the process of gaining an education, allowing children to be curious and ask all the questions they may have, and guiding them in a way that is helpful and caring as opposed to critical. I think enjoying school can be difficult for a lot of children, as it has been for me in the past, so I would love to help others find what subjects they enjoy so they can go into school and academics with a more confident attitude. When I'm not in classes, I love playing volleyball, doing anything art related, and spending time with my friends.
