I am passionate about education and believe in the transformative power of learning. I find deep satisfaction in guiding students towards academic success and fostering a love for learning. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, which has provided me with a strong foundation in human movement and well-being. This understanding of human physiology and the importance of physical activity aligns perfectly with my belief in a holistic approach to learning. I am particularly drawn to subjects like science and psychology because they offer a deeper understanding of the world around us. My teaching philosophy centers around finding what works best for each individual student to grasp the material. I believe in adapting my teaching style to cater to different learning styles, whether it's through visual aids, hands-on activities, or engaging discussions. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring new concepts and asking questions. Outside of academics, I am an avid kayaker, enjoying the challenges and rewards of navigating diverse waterways. This experience cultivates valuable skills such as discipline, perseverance, and an appreciation for the natural world, qualities that I believe are essential for both personal and academic growth. I also have a strong interest in technology, particularly in computer coding, and I find musical expression through playing guitar and piano.
