I am a fourth-year student at Emory University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science and a minor in applied math. I have experience tutoring a wide range of middle and high school math subjects, including regular math, algebra, geometry, algebra II, precalculus, and calculus. As an applied math minor, I have taken multiple upper-level math courses and am proficient in calculus I and calculus II. Math has been my favorite subject since elementary school, so it is also my favorite subject to tutor. As an engineering science major, I also have a strong foundation in calculus-based physics. My teaching philosophy is guided by my goal of helping students realize that they are capable of learning anything. I am passionate about helping students because I want them to derive a sense of confidence and self-sufficiency from their ability to tackle difficult problems. Outside of academia, I love reading, mountain biking, spending time in nature, and sewing.
