My love for teaching began shortly after completing my first master's degree in Child Psychology. I felt there was no better place to help children thrive than in the classroom. I have spent a total of 23 years in education, working with students from all backgrounds and walks of life. Serving children (including my own) has been my life's work, and I believe I have a keen ability to build fond relationships with young people. I firmly believe that every person can learn anything by drawing on their strengths and genuine interests.

After earning a second master's degree in Library and Information Science, I taught in the high school library and gained experience teaching a variety of subjects. Currently, I work with high school and college students in the following subjects: college essay prep, SATs and ACTs, Sports and Exercise Science, Anatomy, IB HS program ELA and History Investigations, ELL, French, Psychology, MCAT, and more...I am also a book publisher and magazine editor. I have published award-winning works in the fields of education and healthcare, and I believe that these works, combined with my past experiences, have positioned me to provide the best quality education to students that I possibly can.

In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, strength training, attending opera performances, and traveling with my family.
