Certified Tutor

Born in the U.S., my family moved from Michigan to Dubai in 2005. I completed middle and high school there before moving to Florida for college. During my junior year of high school, I tutored two elementary kids in reading and math.

In 2018, I received a Bachelor of Science in social sciences from University of Central Florida, where I also minored in film. In 2020, I graduated from Northwestern University with a Master of Science in video and broadcast journalism.

Since graduating, I moved to Dubai for a year in 2020-2021 to live closer to my family, where I also participated in CNN Academy's inaugural class to help further my journalism career. During this time, I also online-tutored my elementary-aged cousins in Michigan (primarily English/reading/math).

In 2021, I moved back to Michigan and started work at a magazine publishing company, BNP Media. After leaving that role in 2023, I began work as the communications manager for a local non-profit.

I believe my strength lies in English writing and editing, due to my career and educational experience, but I am also capable of teaching any elementary-level course (I especially love sciences). I've always wanted to teach, and tutoring is the perfect segue into the field.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking/baking, being active (yoga, spin class, going on walks, etc.), and spending time with family and friends.
