I am currently a senior in the UMSL + WashU Joint Engineering Program to attain my BS in Mechanical Engineering, and a minor in Mathematics. Since I was young, I wanted to "help people and teach math when I grow up." I am also currently the TA in Engineering Mathematics at WashU, and I have experience with tutoring my younger siblings throughout their many stages of education.

I love anything that has to do with mathematics and problem solving. My passion for problem solving translates to helping others in discovering their specific learning needs, so they able to more comfortably and successfully learn at their highest potential. I have a few teachers from my childhood that provided an emotionally safe and supportive environment, who left a permanent, positive stamp on my life that I will never forget. I am so grateful have the opportunity on this platform to pass on similar experiences to others.

Hobbies

Outside of my interests in education, I love cooking, gardening/house plant care, photography in nature and spending time outdoors, as well as training dogs - I have two of my own! I also love to read, mostly self-growth books, so I may create a better version of myself to mine and others' life each day.
