Certified Tutor

A digital artist by trade, I received my Bachelor's of Fine Arts from Brigham Young University. Although my emphasis was storyboarding and character animation, I gained a lot of experience working with a variety of creative platforms. I have tutored the children of Laie, Hawai'i in mathematics and held English classes for immigrants in Washington D.C. and Maryland. My hope, however, is to focus the skills I gained throughout college on helping students learn to navigate design software. I am familiar with programs like Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, Illustrator, After Effects and others. I believe that technology should be used to enhance educational experiences and rebuild lost creativity. When I am not animating, you can find me enjoying good food, playing the piano, surfing or spending time with my family.

Hobbies

I grew up on the North Shore side of the island of O'ahu. Being surrounded by water most of my life made me passionate about the ocean and love water-related activities such as surfing, swimming and diving. I have spent a lot of time hiking the beautiful mountains of Hawai'i as well. Outside of an overall interest in animation, I also enjoy other art mediums such as sketching and digital painting. Music takes up the rest of my time.
