I am a Villanova University graduate with bachelor of science in Biology on the dental track. Taking the array of science courses at my university while also prepping for standardized tests (such as the Dental Admissions Test) has allowed me to hone in on introductory as well as complex biology, chemistry, and math courses. I volunteer for the Currently Trending High School to College preparatory program working in the tutoring, extracurricular, and application prep sectors (specifically for STEM students). I also volunteer online for the Teletutor Virtual Services with students from high school. I would describe my teaching style to be directed by the student. I am able to cater to and provide in a fun yet educational way (using online interactive tools) the necessary information or clarifications needed by students. Different modes of delivering the content, especially those that are beneficial to the students learning capabilities, is a field I am comfortable in. I am a strong advocate for education access for everyone, a tool that can lead to changes beyond just today. Outside of school, I enjoy rock climbing, playing chess, and exploring theme parks. I enjoy classes such as cellular biology, microbiology, genetics, biochemistry, organic chemistry, molecular biology, and general chemistry. I have had prior experience in learning these courses over again for test prep and online tutoring. In my free time, I enjoy exploring nature, specifically by hiking to areas where I can rock climb. I also enjoy playing chess and exploring a new theme park every time I visit a state. I look forward to speaking with you all!
