Happy to be here, happy to help! Please be aware, should have more availability during the school year! I have made education not only a priority, but a passion in my life.
I am a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, 2020, cum laude. My degrees include political science and history with concentrations in American politics and American history respectively. I also received a certificate in American Sign Language. Currently, I am a rising 3L at Suffolk University Law School with a concentration in Health and Biomedical Law.
I am most comfortable tutoring American history (on all grade levels), political science (on all levels), government, civics, social studies (on all grade levels), English and writing (middle school and up), and study skills and organization (on all levels). My favorite subject to teach is anything related to historyyou'll often hear me say, history is just one big story!
My inspiration for education stems from my childhood, growing up in a house full of educators, and relying on teachers and tutors myself as I was growing up. I have seen the obstacles of life fall down with the power of knowledge at the wheel, and it has been my absolute pleasure to be a part of this system one way or another. Having spent the majority of my life in a classroom, I am familiar with both the challenges and successes that comes with learning. Attending school and finding new things to be excited about in every facet of one's education should be one of the most rewarding experiences in throughout life, it is my hope that I can help show you that.
I like to approach all my students uniquely with the understanding that everyone learns differently, but not less efficiently. I like to get to know my students' interests and what they've enjoyed so far in school and use that as a base to get them excited for what's to come. I make sure to keep my lessons and learning styles adaptive to accommodate the student wherever and whenever needed. While the content in which we learn will remain the same to ensure the student remains on track, I understand there may be different ways to get to the finish line.
Outside of academia, you might find me doing something sports related as I have played/watched sports my entire life! I am also an avid reader and film enthusiast. Yet above all, I love making sure I get outside with friends and family and find new adventures around my area!

Undergraduate Degree: University of Pittsburgh-Pittsburgh Campus - Bachelor of Science, Political Science and Government
Other than talking about the law and history, I'm known to dive right into a good book! Some of my recent favorites have been "Mindhunter" (yes the book the TV show is based off of), Nelson Mandela's "Long Walk to Freedom," and "Donnie Brasco" (also yes, the book the movie is based off of). Talk to me about sports! My teams are NY Giants, NY Yankees, Pittsburgh Steelers, Pitt Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Boston Celtics. I also played field hockey for 8 years, rugby for 2 years, and competed in the 100m hurdles in high school. Right now, my current addiction is archery and powerlifting. You also can't go wrong with a good Marvel or Martin Scorsese movie. Don't let that fool you either though, like my name implies, I enjoy a good Disney movie too! But most importantly, please feel free to reach out and talk to me about any puppies you may have. I have a 3 year-old Staffordshire Terrior/Black Lab/Husky mix, he's my baby!
