I have a BSc. Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics and a BSc. Biology from the University of Houston. I'm working as a Medical Scribe and wish to pursue a career in Bioinformatics or/and healthcare settings. I was a Math Lab tutor at St. Edward's University and an Academic Support Assistant in the Athletics Department at the UH. As a tutor, I have taught various mathematics and chemistry courses ranging from Freshman-Sophomore level mathematics courses and CHEM 1 and 2. In my opinion, a student needs to have a clear understanding of underlying concepts. For that to happen, a student must develop critical thinking skills that I help students with during tutoring sessions.
