Hello! I am a passionate and versatile tutor with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering. I earned my Associate of Arts degree from Broward College in 2020 and I am currently on a hiatus from pursuing my Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Florida International University.

I have a very extensive tutoring background. Since middle school or high school many of my classmates, friends and family would ask me to teach them a topic they thought I was really smart in, typically that was math but sometimes it was for Japanese or HTML when I first started learning them. As I would help them I would consistently get feedbacks that I have a talent of explaining things in a way that is both understandable and fun.

With this early spark and interest in teaching my skills have only improved when working for Sylvan Learning Center. At this center I tutored K-12, Adult learners in Academic subjects ranging from basic elementary school math & reading to Algebra 1&2 , Pre-Calculus, Geometry as well test preparation for SAT,ACT,GED, Florida EOCs in a 1:3 setting in person and online for 1:1 as well as Fit4Algebra summer camp.

My tutoring style is dynamic and adaptive, incorporating a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and interests. Because I believe that my job as a tutor is to make learning engaging and relevant by connecting academic concepts to real-world applications and the student's personal desires and interests.

I truly love learning and teaching mathematics, science and art subjects one of my favorite combination of these but is usually seen outside of academia is 3D Computer Graphics ! It is a marvel of what we as human can create with the right tools in our toolbox and it brings me great joy to share my knowledge with other and to see the growth of my students confidence and comprehension.

Hobbies

My interest and hobbies span a wide range of areas, reflecting my passion for learning and creativity. As a huge lifelong nerd and geek, I am deeply in love with anime and manga, with some of my favorites being Inuyasha, Super Gals, Ouran High School Host Club, Tokyo Mew Mew, Code Geass, Bleach, Samurai Champloo, Fire Force, My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer and so so many more! Being influenced by anime and manga I began to grow to enjoy learning about the World through lens of each nation's Pop Culture for example like South Korea with K-pop and K-drama. Or Japan with J-rock and J-doramas. I am naturally drawn to anything Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres, which I believe fuel my imagination and inspire my creative thinking. These fascination influence my approach mechanical engineering, as I enjoy thinking about how to bring fantastical concepts to life through technology and design! I am also interested in learning about other disciplines like Neuroscience, Cognitive and Human Developmental Psychology, Law, History, Music, Education and Civil Engineering. I believe that having a well rounded comprehension of the human mind and behavior, law and ethics, humanities and arts can provide valuable insights that enhance my ability to innovate and create. Ultimately, my hobbies and interest are all centered around a true desire to learn, create, and make the ideas in my head a reality, whether it's through engineering, music or storytelling!
