Went over the essay that she had written prior to the session and emailed me. She had greatly improved since the last essay and I told her that she had fixed much of the major issues that had existed in her prior attempts. We then went through the grammar section, as we hadn't had very much focus on that previously, and she seemed quite strong in that section. We spent the rest of the time working solely on the mathematics section, going through multiple tests and discussing the topics and approaches for problems.

He did much better on these sections, but admitted that he hasn't been focusing on his timing. We also reviewed some difficult math problems and general strategies for the other sections of the test. I think he finally got over the hump in math and should have a good chance of getting a 1600 on the next test.
