I have loved EMS since my first EMT class 30-years ago and deeply believe that receiving a quality education is paramount to becoming a skilled EMS provider. During my career, I have worked in all areas of EMS, including the pre-hospital and Critical Care Transport fields. Additionally, I have been instructing for 28 years and have lectured at EMS conferences around the nation. Furthermore, I have coordinated and taught EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, and Critical Care Paramedic courses and I am an active member of the National Association of EMS Educators. My undergraduate degree is in Community Paramedicine, and currently finishing my Master of Science in EMS Leadership from Creighton University. Using various educational tools, I strive to ensure students have the fundamental knowledge and skills to pass the national registry exam and work in the field, furthering their EMS career.
