I earned a bachelor's degree in Finance, with a minor in Spanish, from the University of Illinois Champagne-Urbana. As an undergraduate student, I also studied at la Universidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina and la Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador as a participant in cultural exchange programs. I lived in Quito, Ecuador for 6 years, working as a freelance translator, interpreter, and English tutor, as well as an English teacher. I have a master's degree in Education from Grand Canyon University, and I have been teaching Spanish since 2014. I have experience teaching groups and individuals virtually and started doing online education in 2019. I love teaching Spanish and hope to impart the same enthusiasm and passion to my students!

In my free time, I love to read new books. My favorite genre is magical realism! I also enjoy practicing yoga, doing gymnastics on my trampoline, roller skating, and playing with my kids. I have two rambunctious little boys who are a lot of fun, and I love spending time with them!
