I graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint with a Bachelor of Science in Education, with a focus on Math and Science. I have taught multiple age-groups through my career in education. One of my strengths is to build up math skills and abilities with struggling students. I am constantly looking for ways to encourage my students to continue working on their basic math skills. I am passionate about the sciences. My students have joked with me that I am always saying, "this area of science is my favorite!" I also love to read all sorts of books; my kids and I love to snuggle in and read together in the evenings. As a mother and teacher, I am very passionate about learning and finding ways to make learning fun and relevant.
