I graduated from Boston University with two degrees, one in biology (specializing in ecology and conservation biology) and the other in Hispanic language and literatures. Shortly after graduating, I accepted an international teaching job in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where I teach English as a second language to students of all ages and lead the natural sciences department for a large, bilingual elementary school. I tutor a broad range of subjects, and I am passionate about both the sciences and languages. My mission is to give students confidence in areas where they struggle academically. I love it when students begin to appreciate a subject that they previously found tedious or too difficult. In my spare time, I rescue animals and volunteer as an environmental educator.
