I'm a graduate of UW Milwaukee with a degree in Spanish, and a huge passion for the language! Because of this, I have previously worked as a professional medical interpreter, as well as an afterschool instructor at a bilingual charter school in Washington DC. I also spent six weeks in Peru teaching English to children and otherwise speaking exclusively Spanish, which was an incredibly enriching experience - if you have the chance to volunteer or study abroad, I wholeheartedly recommend it! I also have a year and a half of experience tutoring Spanish and occasionally English to low-income high school students as part of the Upward Bound Math & Sciences program on the UW Milwaukee campus.
