I am passionate about helping students because I love spreading knowledge and happiness! I have copious experience working with students of all ages in all different subject areas, but most especially Spanish! I am currently studying Spanish education at Marywood University, and I have an IB diploma as well as a New York State Honors Regents Diploma from my high school. Though I consider myself very well versed in term of tutoring abilities, I love tutoring Spanish more than anything else! Nonetheless, I am very passionate about the benefits of the IB Programme and I acknowledge with thanks all of the ways that the program changed my life. Regardless of the subject, it lights me up to be able to share my knowledge and passion with other people and help them. I have experience tutoring at the NativityMiguel School of Scranton, my hometown's KAP program, and individual students who have requested my services. I would describe my tutoring/teaching style as interactive, fun, and engaging. I always tailor my lessons relative to the interests of my students, and focus on building skills in areas that they will be able to use in the real world!

Outside of academia, my hobbies include coaching basketball, hiking, and spending time with my family! The area I live in has beautiful hiking trails which I love to explore with my little cousins. I also love coaching youth basketball, which I have done for 5 years. I enjoy exercising and meditating to take care of myself physically and emotionally. Most importantly, I enjoy spending time with my loving and amazing family. Outside of my hobbies, I am interested in volunteering whenever I can! My favorite volunteer project I have participated in is one that I organized and ran. This project was a basketball clinic for young students and I was able to raise $1,000 to donate to the Alzheimer's Association! Since then, I have been able to make new programs and fundraisers to benefit them more, as well as volunteering my time to other local programs. Giving back to my community, my favorite place on Earth, is one of my favorite things to do!
