As an educator, my goal is to broaden students' current understanding by focusing on their educational needs. After interacting with my students, I would like to provide an opportunity to take responsibility for becoming a self-learner in addition to becoming empowered by their learning and development in their future endeavors. In the past, I've tried to understand the student's point of view by relating to them and showing them that I do, so they can "help me, help them" on their journey to success. Education is something I have been doing my whole without even realizing it. It excites me when I know I can help someone better themselves.
