My background an experience are helpful in three main areas:

(1) I am a native of Puerto Rico, which means my first language is Spanish. Thus, I can help you understand Spanish grammar and improve your conversational skills.

(2) I studied Biology, more specifically Immunology, over a period of approximately 10 years. Thus, I can help you understand biological concepts and of course, immunology is my favorite.

(3) I have been studying for many years. I performed doctoral and postdoctoral studies in the field of fungal immunology and am now pursuing a Masters in Divinity. So, I have learned a thing or two about study skills!

Apart from working and studying, I enjoy having conversations with people from different cultural backgrounds, listening to music, singing, and eating chocolate.
