I am a strong believer that one on one interaction is the best way to learn a new language. Not everybody learns the same way. It was a long journey for me to become fluent in Spanish. I have been speaking Spanish fluently for almost 6 years. What I needed the most was to sit down with my teacher and ask her personalized questions for my own understanding. This is exactly what I strive to offer to other students. An atmosphere where they don't have to feel hesitant or nervous to ask a question. All students deserve that.
I personally have lived in Uruguay for about 6 months and in El Paso, Texas for 1 year. I have learned Portuguese and Italian in the last few years but am not quite to the level of being able to be a tutor yet.
