I first learned of my knack for tutoring as an undergrad when I was recruited by an English professor to work as a tutor at my university's writing center. In this position I discovered the power of individualized sessions and observed how quickly a student's written work can improve. Writing, reading comprehension and language practice such as ESL and Spanish are all areas through which I can assist students. I begin each session carefully listening and identifying areas upon which to focus my time and efforts to advance a student's performance and clarity of work. In addition to my concentration on language, reading and writing I am also a formally trained architect. With a focus in design I am prepared to tutor individuals in drafting and to better understand design editing tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. When I am not tutoring, I am working on a micro-mobility start-up as co-founder and designer!
