I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service in Washington, D.C. with a focus on international relations and economics. My interests in culture, travel, and language took me abroad during my junior year. For a semester, I was enrolled at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain, and matriculated into la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) in Argentina.
I decided to return to school, so I completed and successfully finished the Georgetown University Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL) Certificate program which is a well rounded program which prepares teachers to teach at any given level.
I enjoy teaching in the classroom setting and tutoring students. I have taught Advanced Spanish to undergraduate students. Part of my teaching background includes teaching English to immigrants, political asylees, and refugees. I really enjoy teaching and the tutoring experience.
It is inspirational to see a student progress because it helps me grow as a person and as a teacher. I have experience teaching English as a Foreign Language (ESL), Spanish, and literature. Aside from teaching, I enjoy going to museums, sculpture, architecture, film, and travel. I look forward to learning with you!
