Hi!
My name is Christina and I am eager to help you improve your level of Spanish! I am a heritage speaker of Spanish, having grown up speaking Spanish at home. I spent a school year living and studying in Spain and an additional summer studying at the University of Salamanca in Spain. At the University of Salamanca, the oldest university in Spain, I placed into the highest level of Spanish that the university offers. I have a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Northern Arizona University and I have over four years of tutoring experience. I have tutored students from the elementary school level to the college level. I worked at a community college in the tutoring center for about a year, teaching Spanish. I have professionally translated documents for various organizations. I translated the entire Community Health Worker curriculum into Spanish for the same local community college. I enjoy reading in English and Spanish and I take a holistic approach to teaching.
