I have a B. S. Mechanical Engineering. I have worked as a Journeyman Machinist, Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Engineering Manager and Teacher. My varied experience gives me a better understanding of what students will need to know after education. I can describe to them how what they are learning will be necessary in their adult life. Memorizing information for taking tests is less and less effective as they advance in education. It is almost useless when embarking on a challenging career. I teach students to understand what they are learning so they can apply their knowledge in their professions. I enjoy helping students become successful in life.
