I am a recent graduate of the University of Chicago. In June, I received a B.A. in History with a focus on the American Revolution. Over the years, I have seen many classmates and peers fall behind or fail to make progress in school because they had trouble understanding certain concepts on their own. They almost invariably benefitted from being walked through the logic of the subject by a helping hand who had the right knowledge and experience. My hope, as a tutor, is to help them to develop methods of working and ways of thinking that will ensure their success in the important subjects they are taught. There are many academic subjects I've enjoyed over the course of my education, but I especially like History and French. In my free time, I play games of all kinds (board, card, video), read history books, and sing in the choir at my church.
