Certified Tutor

I am a driven graduate student currently pursuing a Masters degree in School Psychology at Towson University. I received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Upon graduating, I spent a year volunteering with AmeriCorps tutoring middle schoolers in Wilmington, Delaware. Through this experience as well as prior experiences volunteering as a tutor while in college, I discovered that learning is a team effort between the student and the teacher. I enjoy tutoring English and Language Arts because of my personal love for literature and writing. Education has always been an important aspect of my life and I believe it has equipped me with the tools I need to be successful. It is my hope that through tutoring, I can empower people to realize their full potential and achieve their own goals. Outside of academia, my interests span from leisure reading and writing to singing and playing the guitar.
