As a tutor and an actor, I believe that students learn best when they feel connected to their work. I have been working as a tutor and educator for nearly a decade. After graduating from Stanford University, I worked with students ranging in age from Kindergarten to Twelfth Grade, from basic reading to Calculus BC. Irrespective of age, the focus remains the same: to help students enjoy the work so much, the barely know they're working! I love seeing students find excitement and understanding in a subject that they had previously written off as boring and/or impossible.

When not tutoring, I work as a professional actor and theatre teacher in the Chicago Area. I also cook, jog, and stare wistfully at Lake Michigan, pretending to still live in California. I look forward to working with you and bringing out the best parts of the learning experience.
